Naypyidaw

Nay Pyi Taw is the administrative capital of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and located in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory. Nay Pyi Daw means “Seat of the King” in Myanmar language. It is located about 320 kilometres north of Yangon, the former capital and 4 hours’ drive from Yangon. Nay Pyi Taw is the third largest city in Myanmar behind Yangon and Mandalay. Nay Pyi Taw acted as the host city for 2013 SEA Games.
